Palabas
Palabas is a rogue-like breakout game played in rounds. Each successful clear grants an upgrade to the way you play.
This is the first game I've built and will continuously add features, powers, and other elements because this is how I unwind from my tech job haha.

How to play
- Select an upgrade (⬆️ or ⬇️ to select, and [space] or [enter] to confirm)
- Move the paddle (⬅️ or ➡️ to move, and [space] or [enter] to confirm)
- Aim the ball (⬅️ or ➡️ to adjust angle, or ⬆️ to reset to 0°) and press [space] or [enter] to launch!
- Move the paddle (⬅️ or ➡️ to move) to bounce the ball
- Repeat and play for a high score

- v0-11-2 - palette swap button added

- v0-11-0 - complete graphics overhaul
- v0-10-0 - moved many elements to UI layer. new upgrades: aiming arrow, slower speed growth, pierces reset on bounce

- v0-7-2 - block grid properly resets on game over
- v0-7-1 - player collision deletes immediately now on death
- v0-7-0 - speed increases over time for each ball, game now resets locally instead of reloading scene, high scores implemented
- v0-6-0 - rounds implemented, blocks increase exponentially per round
- v0-5-0 - redid art, no more ai generated images
- v0-4-0 - moved UI to control, added selection UI, added first rogue elements
- v0-3-0 - particle emission from destroyed blocks
- v0-2-0 - phases (move, aim, launch, bounce), added bounces_left, balls_left, and a clear condition. updated UI to have instructions
